Paul Otto Hawkins was born on February 18, 1930 at Egypt, Arkansas the son of Otto and Pearl Hawkins and passed away at his residence at Fredericktown on July 26, 2012 at the age of 82 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, two (2) brothers Price and Marvin, four (4) sisters Lucille, Geneva, Irene, and Evelyn, and two grandsons Robert Hawkins and Joshua Alley. Paul was united in marriage to Anna Marie Bayer on April 15, 1949. Paul is survived by his wife Anna, three (3) sons Robert Hawkins of Cape Girardeau, Stephen Hawkins of Maryland Heights, and John Hawkins of Fredericktown, and two (2) daughters Paula Shetley and Chris Shrum both of Fredericktown. Also nineteen (19) grandchildren and fifteen (15) great grandchildren. Paul was a member of Praise Temple Church and enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, and horticulture. A private family funeral service was held on July 27, 2012 at the Praise Temple Church with Pastor Gene Rauls officiating. Interment was at Praise Temple Gardens. Pallbearers were Robert, John, Steve, Levi, Orrin, and Chance.
