Pauline H. Welches was born on January 8, 1926 at Charleston, Missouri the daughter of William Samuel and Louise C. (Colley) Brooks and passed away on April 30, 2014 at Clark's Mountain Nursing Home in Piedmont at the age of 88 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Rev. Howard F. Welches  whom she was united in marriage to on September 16, 1945 at Elwood, Indiana.  Pauline is survived by one son Jay K. (Nancy) Welches, one daughter Joy K. (Gary) Rhodes, and four grandchildren Justin Welches, Michael (Anna) Rhodes and Mark Rhodes. Pauline was a member of the Piedmont Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
