Peggy Lynn Russell was born on March 12, 1941, at Sandtown, Independence, AR., the daughter of Earl and Daisy (Martin) Story, and passed away on June 25, 2026, at the age of 85.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Opie John Russell, one (1) brother William Earl Franklin Jr. Story, one (1) sister Linda Gail (Story) Hancock, one (1) great-granddaughter Brielle Bittle.

Peggy is survived by one (1) daughter Cynthia Lynn (Kevin) Owens, one (1) sister Mable Guindoline Marshall, one (1) brother Conrad Dean Story, one (1) grandchild Amy (Brady) Bittle, two (2) great-grandchildren Blake Bittle, Brant Bittle.

Peggy was of the Baptist faith, she enjoyed spending time in her garden and spending time with her family.
