Raymond L. Skaggs was born October 25, 1933 at Fredericktown, Missouri the son of Paul and Ruth  (Schulte) Skaggs and passed away on February 11, 2023 at St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 89 years.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Two (2) brothers John Paul Skaggs and Charles Skaggs.

He is survived by his wife Marty (Walden) Skaggs, Two (2) daughters Cydney Cox and Whitney (Bobby) Tinsley, Five (5) grandchildren Tyler (Andrea) cox, Katie (Kyle) Danback, Garrett Tinsley, Bryant Tinsley and Hunter Tinsley, Three (3) great grandchildren Anderson Cox, Eleanor Cox and Iris Danback.

Raymond was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church of Fredericktown, Raymond was elected to the Missouri State House of Representatives, from the 150th District, was owner of Raymar Construction on the SMTS and Madison County Water District boards an active member of Fredericktown Rotary Club and was very involved in community service.
