Richard Allen "Buddy" Hicks was born March 9, 1943 in Shannon County, Missouri the son of Oscar & Dorothy (Elliott) Hicks and passed away on March 2, 2018 at Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 74 years.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, Three (3) sisters Marjorie McAffee, Marie Brown & Alice White.  One (1) brother Jerry Hicks and Infant Brothers. Also, one (1) great grandchild.

Buddy married Annalee (Welshans) Hicks on November 29, 1996 at Mt. View Church who survives him.

Other survivors are his daughters Vickie (Darren) Busby, Theresa Martin & Michelle (Josh) Minx, brother Jim Hicks and sister Bernice Brown. Step-children Melissa (Joseph) Chacon, Michelle (Mark) Roe, Emmilee (Jason) Royle & Adam (Danika) Shoffner. Grandchildren Michael Smith. Lori Smith, Shelly Hammers, Christy Stacy, Caroline Martin, Jackie Martin, Clayton Martin, Wyatt Martin, Morgan Bailey, Tyler Bellew, Bailey Minx & Rilee Minx. Nine (9) step-grandchildren. Seventeen great grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
