Richard Lee Rowland was born on December 2, 1950 at Mexico, Missouri, the son of Harold Wayne Rowland and Ida Louise (Jones) Ward, and passed away on February 3, 2020 at Fredericktown at the age of 69 years.

Richard was preceded in death by his father.

Richard is survived by two (2) sons Erik Rowland, Adam Rowland, one (1) daughter Erin (Corey Matthews) Rowland, one (1) granddaughter Amirah Rowland, one (1) brother Ronald Rowland, and two (2) nephews Robert Rowland, and James Rowland.

Richard was a United States Marine Veteran and former P.O.W. while serving a tour of duty in Vietnam, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, botany, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
