Richard Alan Stevens was born on April 5, 1961 at Fredericktown the son of Cleo and Helen (Priest) Stevens and passed away on January 28, 2014 at St. Johns Mercy Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 52 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was united in marriage to Brenda Stafford on May 5, 1984 at Dry Creek. He is survived by his wife Brenda, one son Alan Stevens of Marble Hill, one daughter Kristi Stevens Webb of Piedmont, two brothers Jim Stevens and Doug Stevens both of Fredericktown, one sister Nona Schrum of Dry Creek, and four grandchildren. Richard was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and family, watching Blues hockey, and being a comedian.
