Robert "Bob" Bowman was born March 7, 1938 at Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Robert and Dorothy (Ford) Bowman, and passed away on November 12, 2009 at the Manatee Hospital in Parish, Florida at the age of 71 years.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, two (2) brothers Elmer Compton, Art Compton, two (2) sisters Lou Thorne, Mildred Quarts, and one (1) son in law Ron Sheppard.
Bob is survived by his wife Florence Bowman who he married in Florida. Three (3) sons Daniel Bowman Sr. of Arnold, Missouri, Marty Bowman of Wichita, Kansas, Victor Bowman of Anchorage, Alaska, three (3) daughters Mary Colleen Berra of Barnhart, Missouri, Debbie Rugenski of Dearborne, Michigan, Evelyn Sheppard-Weaver of Ofallon, Missouri, thirteen (13) grandchildren, and ten (10) great-grandchildren.
Bob was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Parish, Florida.
He enjoyed Hunting and Fishing

Visitation will be held after 10:00 A.M. Saturday November 21, 2009 at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday November 21, 2009 at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Bowman officiating.
