Robert L. Montgomery Sr., was born August 25, 1922 at Flat River, Missouri the son of William and Elizabeth (LaPlant) Montgomery and passed away on October 29, 2010 at Stockhoff Nursing home in Fredericktown at the age of 88 years.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brother Howard, sister Irene and One (1) step-son Rodney Galey in 1991.
Bob is survived by Two (2) daughters Jacque Qualls and Sheri Elkins of Texas, One (1) son Robert L. Montgomery of Annapolis, Maryland, step-daughter Sharon Galey Miller, granddaughter Kerri Guinn & husband Farron, grandson Khristian, also Two (2) grandchildren Chandra, Bethany great grandchildren Melanie, Jeffrey, Shawn & Jonathon Anison. Nephew Buddy Montgomery & wife Marcia and Khristie also step-grandchildren Rodney Galey & Aaron Galey and Three (3) granddaughters.
Bob was retired from P.P.G. at Mt. Zion, Illinois at age 63. He worked in the oil fields in Texas after he was discharged from the Air Force.
Norma & Bob had been married 42 years, he was a loving husband, father & grandfather and will be sadly missed.
