Robert Louis Thorsrud was born on March 4, 1930 at Pine Lawn, Missouri the son of Engus Albert and Mary Louise Noel Thorsrud and passed away on November 22, 2012 at Farmington, Missouri at the age of 82 years. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Ardath Thorsrud, one sister and brother –in-law Bonnie Lee and Ed Bleckel, brothers Arthur Irwin Thorsrud, Edward Raymond Thorsrud, brother-in-law Frank Governal, son-in-laws Stanley Sumonski Jr.and Larry Hinchey, grandchildren Stanley Sumowski III, Katheryn Johanna Sumowski, and Karen Marie Sumowski, and great grandchild Joshua Newton. Robert is survived by wife Laverne (Dowd) Thorsrud, four daughters Brenda Kay (Don) Mottin, Debra (Sumowski) Hinchey, Diana Lynn (Matthew) Schoo, and Marlene "Bobi" (Mark) Keyes, two step daughters Dana (Stan) Lohman and Pamela (Edward) Wallace, two step-sons Keith (Teresa) Matheny and Mike Matheny, one sister Margie Governal, and one brother Albert Engus Thorsrud. Also six grandchildren Angela Key Heigel, Mathew Alan Keyes, Debra Suzanne Glazik, Amy Ann Brockmeyer, Leif Alan Keyes, Christopher Robert Schoo and ten great grandchildren

VISITATION: after 3:30 P.M. Saturday November 24, 2012 at the Union Light Church.

SERVICE: 4:30 P.M. Saturday November 24, 2012 at the Union Light Church with Rev. Steve Tinsley officiating.

INTERMENT: 1 P.M. Monday November 26, 2012 Rolla City Cemetery
