Joyce Royer was born on January 10, 1936, at Fredericktown, MO, the daughter of Samual and Opal Shy (Smithey) Smallen, and passed away on September 06, 2026.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy Francis Royer, who she married on September 15, 1952, seven (7) brothers and two (2) sister in laws.

Joyce is survived by two (2) sons, Randy Royer, Russyl Royer, two (2) daughters, Leah Ann Govreau, Jill Walka, two (2) sisters, Jackie Vaughn, Patsy Allgier, eleven (11) grandchildren Christopher Hinkle, Rachael Hinkle, Will Royer, Anthony Royer, Meagan Burlock, Jace Royer, Aaron White, Kelsey Armstrong, Josh White, Savannah White, Ashley Christopher, nine (9) great-grandchildren.

Joyce was affiliated with First Baptist Church, Fredericktown, MO and enjoyed quilting, baking, baseball and hockey.
