Roma Louise Ward was born on February 26, 1927 at Fredericktown, the daughter of Lewis and Edith King, and passed away on September 23, 2022 at the age of 95 years.

Roma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lindell Ward, who she married on November 5, 1948 at Fredericktown, two (2) brothers Allen King, Oscar King, and one (1) sister Barbara Rice.

Roma is survived by her three (3) daughters Tammy (Bob) Gifford, Dana (Rick) Jenkins, Carol (Steve) Stephens, one (1) sister, Hilda Reagan, one (1) sister-in-law Melba Fadler, five (5) grandchildren, Jason Sheppard, Caitlin Gifford, Ryan (Erin) Gifford, Cortney (Andrew) Sikes, Abby (James) Neel, eight (8) great-grandchildren, Reilly Gifford, Tate Gifford, Gracie Sikes, Kindal Neel, Brayden Neel, Emma Neel, Finley Neel, Braylee Neel, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Roma was a member of the United Methodist Church, and enjoyed playing cards, golfing, bowling, fishing, trips to the casino, and spending time with her family.
