Ronald Allen Schroeder was born on March 26, 1950 at Watseka, Illinois the son of Ralph Leo and Helen Marie (Dobkins) Schroeder and passed away on May 26, 2014 at Mercy-Jefferson Hospital in Crystal City at the age of 64 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and granddaughter BJ Summers. Ronald was united in marriage to Brenda Joyce Dunlap on March 25, 1989 at Fredericktown. He is survived by his wife Brenda, four sons Don Schroeder, Jeremy Schroeder, Ronnie Schroeder, and Michael Summers; two daughters Samantha Oliva and Valerie Turk; four grandchildren Kaalyn A. Summers, Kendra M. Summers, James Earl Guynes, and Haley M. Rodriquez; two great grandchildren Nylah Summers and Uzane Robinson; and two sisters Linda Neil and Jennie Cochran.
