Ronald Beck, Sr., 73, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, April 4, 2025, in Marquand, Missouri.

Ron was very proud to have served in the United States Marine Corps, holding the rank of Private First Class from 1971 to 1973. Once he was honorably discharged from the USMC he worked a few odd jobs, but then became a certified auto mechanic.

He loved spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing with his boys, and often with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren. The woods were his sanctuary — a place where he could find peace and spend weeks without ever wanting to leave. His loyal dog, Rosie, was his constant companion and best friend; he rarely went anywhere without her by his side.

Ron had a gift for turning everyday moments into music. Whether he was working, or simply looking around, he'd start whistling or singing about whatever caught his eye. His songs were often made up on the spot, full of humor and heart, and sometimes delivered in a playful, made-up language that only he understood. His creativity and laughter filled every room he entered.

Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who gave his family everything he had — his time, his wisdom, his strength, and his unconditional love.

Ron was born on December 26, 1951, in Marston, Missouri, to Edward Acie Beck and Betty Yvonne (Shepard) Beck, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Karonia Lee (Fite) Beck; five children, sixteen grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.

4. Salina Marie (Beck) Fischer, married to Richard Arthur Fischer

• Grandchildren: Trenton Ronald Beck, Matthew Robert Fischer

5. Genna Yvonne Beck, partner, Jamie Wyatt

• Grandchildren: Jarod Elijah Glen Johnson, Nicholas James Ronald Beck, Dakota Wyatt, Drake Wyatt

Ron is missed beyond love and measure. His songs, his laughter, and his unwavering love live on in every one of us.
