Rosa Mae King was born November 18, 1926 at Grisham Spur, Missouri the daughter of Lee Theodore and Lenora Magdalene (Bess) Long and passed away on April 4, 2014 at Stockhoff Nursing Home in Fredericktown at the age of 87 years.

Rosa was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Oscar King whom she married on May 2, 1954 at Bessville Old Union Church. Also a daughter Crystal Lea (King) Woods, grandson Janszen Scott Woods, son Thomas King and a brother James "Bill" Long.

Rosa is survived by One (1) daughter Cheryl (Scott) (King) Cooper of Perryville, One (1) grandson Joshua Cooper and Brittany Bachmann of Perryville, Two (2) granddaughters Heather (Billy) Osborne of Fredericktown and Jessica Cooper of Athens, Georgia. One (1) sister Judy (Charles) Chambers.

Rosa was a member of the Fredericktown United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening, reading, travel and baking.
