Rose Marie (Yancey) Snell was born June 13, 1944 at Fredericktown the daughter of James Monroe Yancey and Mary Ellen Stolte Yancey King and passed away on March 25, 2018 at her residence in Fredericktown at the age of 73 years .

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Norma Jean Montgomery and Monica Eileen Turner, brother James Monroe Yancey Jr.

Rose is survived by her husband Edward August Snell whom she married on March 27, 1965 at St. Anthonys Cathedral in St. Louis. Two (2) sons Edward August Snell Jr. of Alabama, James Martin Snell of Ironton, One (1) daughter Kimberly Marie (Snell) Cook of Fredericktown

Three (3) brothers William Loren Yancey of Farmington, Floyd Timothy Yancey of Pacific & Theodore Martin Yancey of Fredericktown. One (1) sister Barbara Lea Kennedy of Fredericktown.

Fifteen (15) grandchildren and Twenty-Six (26) great grandchildren.

Rose was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed yard sales, bingo, kids and grandkids.
