Rosemary McDowell was born on March 1, 1932 at Bartelso, Illinois the daughter of Joseph and Isabelle (Wichmann) Loepker and passed away on February 2, 2016 at Stockhoff Nursing Home in Fredericktown at the age of 83 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John McDowell whom she was united in marriage to in 1958 at St. Louis, Missouri, one son Marshall Kinsey, three sisters Anna Loepker, Sr. Mary Maurice, and Margie Beckmann, and three brothers Charles Loepker, Paul Loepker, and Louis Loepker. She is survived by three sons Russell Mollet of Glen Allen, Virginia, Charles McDowell of Farmington, Missouri, and Robert McDowell of Fredericktown, one daughter LeaAnna Parson of Fredericktown, one brother Severin Loepker of Breese, Illinois, eleven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. She enjoyed flower gardening.
