Roy Bernard "Bernie" Stafford was born on September 16, 1944 at St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Roy and Margaret Stafford, and passed away at his home in Fredericktown on December 4, 2019 at the age of 75 years.

Bernie was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty Marie Stafford who he married on July 25, 1970, one (1) son Roy Benjamin Stafford, one (1) brother David Kemp, and two (2) sisters Beverly (Kemp) Revelle, and Vicki (Kemp) Pippin.

He is survived by three (3) sons Shannon Stafford, Hec Stafford, Mac Stafford, one (1) daughter Betty "Ann" (Ken) Watson, three (3) brothers Danny (Karen Stephens) Stafford, Kenny (Michelle) Kemp, Kevin (Karen) Kemp, two (2) sisters Sherry Kemp, Katie (Tom) Stephens, and thirteen (13) grandchildren.

Bernie was of the Christian Faith and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
