Roy Leonard "Len" Whitener was born February 12, 1942 at St. Louis the son of Roy & Thelma (Harris) Whitener and passed away on February 18, 2016 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 74 years.
Len was preceded in death by his parents, sister Ruth Campbell, sister-in-law Beverly Finch, mother-in-law & father-in-law Nora Tinnin & Clarence Tinnin, granddaughters Brandy Hobeck & Natalie Wood.
Len married Aleda Jane Tinnin in January of 1981 who survives. Len is also survived by daughters Gina (Scott) Hobeck, Maggie (Eddie) Wood, Becky (Todd) Gross & Nicky (Jeff) Wendel. Brother Larry (Jolly Ann) Whitener, Step-children Joe Bounds, Tina Miller & Mary Jo Sheldon. Twelve (12) grandchildren & Fifteen (15) great grandchildren.
Len enjoyed bowling, hunting and a World of Outlaws Fan.
