Ruby "Lorene" Kemp was born January 3, 1939 at Annapolis, Missouri the daughter of Tearl and Mable "Carrie" (Kemp) Brewer and passed away on June 12, 2018 at her residence in Fredericktown at the age of 79 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wade O. Kemp Jr. whom she was united in marriage to on March 31, 1956 at St. Louis, Missouri, and two sisters Bernice Middleton and Wilma Kelley.
She is survived by her two sons Wade O. Kemp III of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania and Patrick T. Kemp of Fredericktown, one brother Vernon "Pete" Brewer of High Ridge, Missouri, two sisters Wanda Mehaffy of Manchester, Missouri and Norma Hawkins of Piedmont, Missouri. Also four grandchildren Jessica Kemp, Tesson Kemp, Ashley Kemp, and Brooke Kemp, three step grandchildren Harold A. Metz III, Courtney Beckett, Andrea Metz, one great grandchild Larissa Kemp, and two step great grandchildren Jane Beckett and Bryce Beckett.
Lorene enjoyed taking care of her home, playing the guitar and mandolin and singing.
