Russell Glenn "Sonny" Bollinger was born on September 9, 1940 at Fredericktown the son of Russell and Goldie Irene (Stephens) Bollinger and passed away on November 23, 2013 at Fredericktown at the age of 73 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Sammy Dwight Bollinger, and one sister Ginger Kinder. Sonny was united in marriage to Ginger Nichols on May 18, 1962 at Alexandria, Louisiana. He is survived by his wife Ginger, two daughters Nan (Joey)Allgier of Fredericktown, Mindy (Kevin) Denton of Jackson, Missouri; three brothers Lindell Bollinger of Barnhart, Missouri, Ron Bollinger of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Bruce Bollinger of Barnhart, Missouri; three sisters Faye Prokopf of Jackson, Missouri, Bobbie Lenhardt of Fredericktown, and Irene Cureton of Fredericktown; and four grandchildren Mallory Allgier, Rusty Allgier, Taylor Denton, and Trevor Denton. He enjoyed fishing, carpentry, and spending time with family.
