Ruth Ann Carlton was born February 7, 1940 in Madison County, Missouri the daughter of Clarence and Stella (Hamblin) Bowling and passed away on August 19, 2025 in Fredericktown, Missouri at the age of 85 years.

Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy Carlton who she married on June 4, 1983 in Joplin, Missouri and passed away on August 4, 2025.

Ruth Ann is survived by a sister Jane Bowling and sister-in-law Maydeen Carlton Zahner. Along with extended family.

Ruth Ann retired from Madison Medical Center where she spent much of her working career   as a pharmacy tech.

She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church; she loved trips to Branson and spoiling Ginger the dog
