Ruth Elaine Martin was born November 11, 1949 in Parma, Missouri the daughter of Jake and Anna Mae (Cook) Powell and passed away on March 14, 2024 in Silva, Missouri, at the age of 74 years.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Carol Eaton, brothers Stanley Powell and Bob Powell.

Elaine is survived by her husband Richard Martin who she married on April 14, 1975 at Hillsboro, Missouri, Sons Chuck Young (Melinda) and Thomas Martin (Jennifer) and One (1) sister Benita Austin (James), six (6) grandchildren Alex, Andrew, Thomas Jr., Gabe, Ashlee and Amanda.

Elaine was a member of Oak Dale General Baptist Church, she took care of the nursery while attending 1st Baptist Church of Affton, Missouri, she enjoyed all her grandchildren and fishing.
