Sandra "Sandy" Sue Denman, age 78, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025. Though she called Marquand home for many years, Sandy spent her last seasons at Stockhoff Nursing Home, where she was cared for with kindness following a stroke in 2022.

Born on April 4, 1947, to Verlin and Esther Moore, Sandy brought warmth and laughter wherever she went. She was a devoted mother to Lora Tinnin and Chad Denman, and a proud grandmother to Tiffany Parson, Brianna Ivester, and Brylon Denman. Her family tree continued to bloom with beloved great-granddaughters, Alivia and Adailine Parson.

Sandy's life was a tapestry of gentle strength, faith, and love for those around her. She cherished time spent tending her flowers, sharing stories at family gatherings, and lending a listening ear to friends and neighbors. Her gentle spirit and resilient heart left an imprint on all who knew her.

A service to celebrate Sandy's life will be held at Union Light Church on Thursday, June 19, 2025. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at Stockhoff Nursing Home for their compassionate care and support during Sandy's final years.

Sandy will be deeply missed, but her warmth, wisdom, and love will echo in the hearts of her family and friends for years to come.
