Shirley Ann Jackson was born on December 29, 1935 at Greenville, Missouri the daughter of Rev. S.A. "Big Boy" and Ethel (Snodgrass) Hand and passed away on November 19, 2013 at her residence in Fredericktown at the age of 77 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Richard Hand, Robert Hand, Dale Hand, and three sisters Virginia Adams, Helen Gamblin, and Ruth Young. Shirley is survived by three sons David King and Randy Bateman both of Patton, Missouri and James (Mary) McCarver of Palmer, Alaska; two daughters Lisa Whitener and Sandra King both of Fredericktown; one sister Doris Grindstaff of Fredericktown; lifetime friend Jill Johnson of Fredericktown; eleven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed going to church and being with family and friends.
