Shirley Mae Mihlfeld, asleep in Jesus on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 in Florissant, Missouri at the age of 87 years. Shirley was born May 8, 1921 in Clifty, Kentucky the daughter of Richard and Stella Mae (Glenn) McIntosh. She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, three brothers, and her husband Vernon Mihlfeld. Devoted mother of Tommy Nifong and Terry (Kelli) Nifong. Cherished grandmother of Taylor, Shelby, and Rachel. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. Shirley lived most of her life in Fredericktown, retiring from Brown Shoe Company in 1984. Public visitation is scheduled at 11:00 a.m. Monday December 22, 2008 at Follis & Sons Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday December 22, 2008 at the Follis & Sons Chapel. Interment Christian Cemetery. Pastor Wesley Knight officiating.
