Shirley Joyce Steward was born on January 25, 1941 at Greenville, Missouri the daughter of William Wesley and Iola V. (Fletcher) Quinton and passed away on June 4, 2016 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 75 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Albert Layton Steward whom she was married to in 1970 at Andrews, Texas, brothers William "Lum" Quinton, Leslie "Red" Quinton, George Quinton, infant sister Wilma Jean Quinton, sister Marie Potter, daughter Patricia Smith, and son Keith Smith. She is survived by one son Billye Stromatt of Fredericktown, one daughter Jessica Sides of Piedmont, and two grandchildren Elijah Sides and Ethan Sides. Shirley was an aunt, great aunt, great great aunt, and great great great aunt. She was of the Christian Faith and enjoyed flowers, birds, jig saw puzzles, and reading.
