Sonja Cloninger was born on March 25, 1940 at Randalls, Missouri the daughter of Jim and Pauline (Davis) Hicks and passed away on October 9, 2016 at Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown at the age of 76 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son Randy Young, brother & sister-in-law Larry & Betty Hicks. She is survived by her husband Dennis Cloninger whom she was united in marriage to in December 1981, one son Terry W. (Pamela ) Young Sr. of Jackson, four sisters Sharon Ticamo of St. Louis, Betty McCormick of Cape Girardeau, Pat (Carl) Hobeck of Chester, Illinois, and Helga Hicks of Cape Girardeau, 2 step brothers, eleven (11) grandchildren, and seven (7) great grandchildren. Sonja was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church and enjoyed hummingbirds, flowers, crafts, and spending time with the family and grandkids.
