Obituary

Stella Sara Ellen Parson was born June 19, 1916 in Madison County, near Millcreek, Missouri, the daughter of William Henry and Angie (Vessels) Cooper and passed away on October 20, 2009 at Stockhoff Nursing Home in Fredericktown at the age of 93 years.
Stella was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Sandra Leah Smith, her husbands Alva C. Smith and Roscoe Parson, brother Paul Cooper, Two (2) sisters Rose White and Glenda Graham, son-in-law Floyd Tinsley.
Stella is survived by One (1) son Donald C. Smith of Yakima, Washington, Three (3) daughters Patricia D. Tinsley (Floyd) of Fredericktown, Mary E. Shelley (Larry) of Farmington, and Evelyn (Gerry) Smith of Fredericktown. Eight (8) grandchildren, Eighteen (18) great grandchildren and Eleven (11) great great grandchildren.
Stella was a member of Cornerstone Tabernacle. She enjoyed writing poetry and gospel songs, quilting and flower arranging, reading, sewing and cooking.
