Sylvia Virginia (Matthews) Warner Finch, of Farmington, Missouri passed away on March 5, 2024 at Cedarhurst, Senior Living at the age of 81. Sylvia was born on May 29, 1942 in Mine La Motte, Missouri to Ted and Alta Matthews (nee Huffman). Sylvia was the epitome of a loving Christian wife, mother and grandmother. Anyone that knew Sylvia was touched by her loving spirit and her generosity. From caring for the sick or driving someone to a doctor appointment to providing food to someone unable to cook for themselves, Sylvia was there to help. She was a kind and compassionate woman and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert (Bob) Warner, granddaughter Jennifer Warner, son-in-law Roger Durbin, sister Carol Belken and brother-in-law Charlie Belken. She is survived by her husband Larry Finch, children Tamera Durbin, Robert (Donna) Warner, Wayne (Christy) Warner, Barbara (Richard) Standley, Glen (Kim) Finch, April (Josh) Jones and Chris (Cierra) Finch. She is also survived  by grandchildren Andrea (Rick) Pirtle, Rachel (Micah) Inman, Benjamin (Becky) Durbin, Tabitha (Kevin) Smith, Seth (Amanda) Durbin; Issac (Brittany) Standley, Caleb Warner, Owen Warner, Braydon and Olivia Hampton, Gracie Jones, Liam and Nolan Tripp, Aurora Finch, Zach and Seth Finch and 18 great grandchildren.

Sylvia was a member of Mine La Motte Free Will Baptist Church. She loved sewing, quilting, playing the piano, farming and reading.

Services will be held March 11, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Follis & Sons Funeral Home with interment in Mine La Motte Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Robert Warner, Wayne Warner, Owen Warner, Caleb Warner, Chris Finch, Seth Durbin and Issac Standley.
