Sylvia Mildred Ann (Ginny) Gray of Fredericktown, MO passed away May 11, 2015 at Missouri Baptist Hospital after a long illness. She is survived by her husband Dan Hanner of Fredericktown, children Melissa Harcourt Guilliams (Mark) of Jackson, MO and Ike Harcourt of Norfork, AR; her grandchildren, who affectionately called her "Biggie", Gus, Harper Gray and Ivy Guilliams and Olivia Harcourt; sisters Brenda Osborne of Jonesboro, AR (Mark), Linda Cayla of Oklahoma City (Pierre); brothers John Gray (Kathy) of Brandon, MS; her very best friend since childhood, Merry Howe of Little Rock, AR; and many other beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents C.R. and Eileen Gray of Newport, AR.

Ginny was born June 7, 1950 in Newport, AR. She attended Newport High School and graduated in 1968. She continued her education at Arkansas State Univeristy where she majored in art.

She and Dan Hanner were married in 1980 and moved to Fredericktown, Mo. Ginny and Dan ran a successful real-estate business and also dealt in antiques. Ginny was an artist and used her inventive mind to create amazing works of art that have been shared and enjoyed by many. Ginny was a friend to all, and all who knew her knew of her great zest for life and loved of fun. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.

A memorial visitation is planned for Saturday, May 23rd at Follis and Sons Funeral Home in Fredericktown, MO from 4-7 pm.

In lieu of flowers, please make any contributions in her honor to Madison Co. Health Department, Head Cancer Fund, sponsored by Madison Co. Thrift Store or Madison County Salvation Army Chapter, which assists Madison County residents in need.
