Tex Hale was born on September 8, 1948, at Cedar Bottom, the son of Otto and Iva Hale, and passed away on November 17, 2024, at the age of 76 years.

Tex was preceded in death by his parents, six (6) siblings, Otto Iva, Dollie Jean, Debbie Sue, Wilma, Tom, and Hilda. Also, Son-in-law Mark Stumbaugh.

Tex is survived by his wife Nancy, who he married on August 25, 1973, at Oak Grove, one (1) daughter, Marcy Stumbaugh, three (3) granddaughters, Brittney Stumbaugh, Paige Stumbaugh, Paislee Stumbaugh, and six (6) siblings, Fred (Janet) Hale, Judy Stephens, Paul (Patty) Hale Sr., Laura (Jerry) Gerler, Lolly Olive, and Wayne Hale.

Tex was a believer in God, and he enjoyed hunting, mushroom hunting, and spending time with his family.
