Thelma Louise "Toni" Haydu was born on February 24,1937 at Lakeland, Florida the daughter of Preston and Edith (Robbins) Bridges and passed away on June 29,2025 at Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Festus, Missouri at the age of 88 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and sisters, one daughter Reannan Smith, and one son Earl Daniel Smith.

Toni is survived by her husband William "Bill" Haydu whom she was united in marriage to on April 12, 2010 at New Liberty United Baptist Church in Piedmont; one son Jeffery Smith of Lithia, Florida;  two daughters Karen Smith of Madison, Florida and Stephanie Kimmel of Fredericktown; one brother William Bridges of Lithia, Florida; one sister Linda Johnson of Greenville, Florida; two grandchildren Rachael Van Groningen and Joe Lambert(LeeAnn); and five great grandchildren.

Toni was a member of Oak Grove United Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, growing flowers, embroidery/needlepoint, travelling, and cruising around foreign countries including China with having a chance to walk a part of the Great Wall of China. She also enjoyed reading her bible and watching television ministries including Kenneth Copeland.
