Tommy Earl Shafer Jr. was born on March 5, 1973, at Sikeston, Missouri, the son Tommy Earl Shafer Sr. and Margaret Jones, and passed away on August 6, 2023, at the age of 50 years.

Tommy was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Jones, and son Tommy Earl Shafer III.

Tommy is survived by his father, one (1) son Andrew Thomas Shafer, one (1) daughter, Sara Elizabeth Hammers, one (1) brother, Josh Shafer, three (3) sisters, Marie (Kenny Thompson) Shafer, Michelle (Pete) Abosida, Annette Burton, and five (5) grandchildren.

Tommy enjoyed hunting, spending time with family, and being with the kids.
