Valerie Welshans was born December 16, 1946 at Charleston, Missouri, the daughter of William David Welshans, and Mary Elizabeth True, and passed away December 23, 2016 at Cape Girardeau at the age of 70 years.
Valerie was preceded in death by her parents, one (1) brother Fred Welshans, one (1) sister Liz Welshans, and one (1) grandson Dalton Tyler Wasson.
She is survived by one (1) son Barry Glenn (Tammi) Blumenberg Jr, one (1) daughter Monica (Todd) Johnston, three (3) brothers William David (Betty) Welshans, Bobby (Kathy) Welshans, Al (Patti) Welshans, six (6) sisters Peggy (Paul) Jefferies, Annie (Buddy) Hicks, Cathie (Joe) Fuchs, Susie (Keith) Adams, Mona (Keishawn) Jeter, Mary Ann Welshans, four (4) grandchildren, and two (2) great grandchildren.
Valerie loved her dog Angel, and spending time with her friends and family.

VISITATION: 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Monday December 26, at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home.
