Veda Maxine Myers was born on August 28, 1924 at Marquand, Missouri the daughter of Jesse Wilbur and Della (Rickman) Dees and passed away on April 29, 2015 at Fenton, Missouri at the age of 90 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jessie "Jake" Myers whom she was united in marriage to on September 1, 1946 at Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and two brothers Antone Dees and Raymond Dees. She is survived by three daughters Sue (Gary) Settle, Kay (Harold) Settle, and Debbie (Carl) Myers, three grandchildren Vickie Settle, Emily (Tim) McGuire, and John (Jennifer) Settle, and three great grandchildren Cameron Settle, Collin Settle, and Caitlyn McGuire. Veda was a member of the First Baptist Church.
