Velma Veda Vincent Pyles was born March 25, 1933 at Fredericktown, the daughter of Thomas and Beatrice(Haney) Vincent and passed away on April 27, 2017 at Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 84 years.
Velma was preceded in death by her parents, sister Pearl Pruden, son-in-law Gary Hovis.
Velma married Noel Gene Pyles in January of 1966 who also preceded her in death.
Velma is survived by Three (3) sons Robert Warren of Norman, Oklahoma, Ron Pyles of Mansfield, Texas & Jerry Prouty of Fredericktown. Two (2) daughters Barbara Hovis of Fredericktown & Cynthia McCarver of Walker, Louisana. One (1) brother Willis Vincent of Klamath Falls, Oregon & One (1) sister Thelma Faulker of Fredericktown. Six (6) grandchildren Leslie Ann Warren, Rachael Hurst, Kristi Tokko, Miranda Pyles, Shelby McCarver & Victoria Pyles. Two (2) great grandchildren Craig Slinkard III & Justus Hurst.
Velma was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed Cardinal Baseball, crocheting, quilt panels, flowers & photography.
