Verna Faye Brown was born on October 25, 1922 at Roselle, Missouri the daughter of Augustus and Clara (Robbs) Inman and passed away on April 22, 2013 at the Ozark Manor in Fredericktown at the age of 90 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gordon Prine Brown whom she was united in marriage to on September 18, 1954 at Fredericktown, one step- son Philip Walter Brown, sisters Nola Mae Shaner and Oma Useba Inman, and brothers Leeman Robbs Inman, Oren Leslie Inman, and Johny Franklin Inman. She is survived by nieces and a nephew. Verna Faye was a member of the Bethel United Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling, camping, reading, crocheting, and Sunday School which she taught for over 50 years.
