Violet A. Tesreau was born on August 4, 1921 at Fredericktown the daughter of James Andrew and Rosalee (Sikes) Wagganer and passed away on December 22, 2014 at Stockhoff Nursing Home in Fredericktown at the age of 93 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clark Tesreau whom she was united in marriage to on April 17, 1937 at Cedar Bottom, Missouri, one daughter Gloria Violet Montgomery, brothers Charles Wagganer, Ernest Wagganer, James Howard Wagganer, Maurice Wagganer, Orvil Henry Wagganer, and David Wagganer, and sisters Pearl Cooper, Emma Mae Smith, and Jewell Henson. Violet is survived by sons Jerry Tesreau of Illinois, Roy Tesreau, Rick Tesreau, and Vic Tesreau all of Fredericktown, and Mike Montgomery of Pelzer, South Carolina, one daughter Mary Tripp of Belleville, Illinois, brothers Harry Nelson Wagganer of Fredericktown, Robert Wagganer of St. Louis, and Denver Wagganer of Fredericktown, sisters Helen Maze of Fredericktown, and Alice Steward of St. Louis, sixteen grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.
