Virginia Sue Boyer was born on October 18, 1942 at New Madrid, Missouri the daughter of Frank and Sally Mae Carlyle and passed away on June 18, 2025 at the age of 82 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Larry J. Boyer Sr. whom she was united in marriage to on October 16, 1959 at Wolf Island Baptist Church; her grandson Joshua Robert Boyer; sisters Eula Matheny, Janie Bush, Bernice Wray, and Glenda Morgan; and brothers Raymond Carlyle, Sam Carlyle, Harold Carlyle, Ed Carlyle, Gilbert Carlyle, Don Carlyle.

Sue is survived by one son Larry J. Boyer Jr. (Allison) of Marquand; two daughters Robin Clayton (Donnie) of Paragould, Arkansas and Kim Allgier (Ray) of Fredericktown; one brother Max Carlyle (Norma Jean) of Charleston, Missouri; two sisters Linda Rushing (Don) of Wickliffe, Kentucky and Pat Faire (David) of Sikeston, Missouri; seven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed quilting, cooking, sewing, taking care of her flower beds, and spending time with family.
