Virginia Mae DeSpain was born on July 4, 1924 at Allenville, Missouri the daughter of Harry Ernest and Essie Mae (Yount) Lorance and passed away on January 13, 2009 at the age of 84 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one (1) brother E. J. Lorance one sister Joyce Lorance, one (1) granddaughter Jessica DeSpain, and one (1) daughter-in-law Pat DeSpain.
She is survived by two (2) sons Jim (Marilyn) DeSpain of Fredericktown, Ed (Penny) DeSpain of Marquand, and one (1) daughter Becky (Richard) Reiser of Gilman City, Missouri five (5) grandchildren, and eight (8) great-grandchildren as well as many friends.
Virginia was of the Baptist faith, and a member of Big Creek Church. She enjoyed Quilting and Embroidery.
Visitation will be held at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home on Thursday January 15, 2009 after 5:00 P.M.
Services will be held on Friday January 16, 2009 at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. Richard Reiser officiating. Interment will be held in Marcus Memorial Park.
