Weldon W. "Bud" Branum was born on August 1, 1932 at Hornersville, Missouri the son of Kermit E. and Louise (Perkins) Branum and passed away on December 17, 2014 at the Stockhoff Nursing Home in Fredericktown at the age of 82 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Jean Branum-Kinchen. He is survived by his wife Frances (Buck) Branum whom he was united in marriage to on June 3, 1956 at the Hornersville 1st Baptist Church in Hornersville, Missouri, two sons Kermit Branum of Farmington and Bruce (Arlene) Branum of Fredericktown, one daughter Sherry Elaine (Scott) Jennings of Johns Island, South Carolina, and six grandchildren. Bud was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fredericktown and served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and gardening.
