Wilbert Melvin "Web" James was born April 8, 1924 at Zalma, Missouri the son of Will and Myrtle Victoria (Pittman) James and passed away at his daughters home in rural Fredericktown on October 12, 2009 at the age of 85 years.
Wilbert spent most of his youth in Puxico, Missouri and was a retired automobile mechanic, that had worked in several places in St. Louis and Southeast Missouri.
He loved the outdoors and being with family and friends. He also loved his little town of Puxico and the general area.
Wilbert is survived by his daughter Nancy K. Minogue (Jack) of rural Fredericktown, One (1) brother Lee James of Glencoe, Missouri, Two (2) sisters Beulah Kesterson (Joe) and Modine Kitchens of Oklahoma and Colorado. Three (3) step-children Ross Allan (Debbie), Marcella Conley (Ed) and Martha Watts (Bill), their children and grandchildren. Two granddaughters, Jean Dalton of Wentzville and Karen Pearson of Stockton, Missouri, One (1) grandson Philip Berg of St. Charles, Missouri. Five (5) great grandchildren, Two (2) great great grandchildren, One (1) Uncle, several nephews, nieces and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen, his parents, Two (2) brothers Bill and Hubert James and Two (2) sisters Della Bess and Millie Jerrell.
