Wilford Combs was born on January 19, 1926 in Madison County, Missouri, the son of John Henry and Lelia Ida Combs, and passed away on October 31, 2019 at the age of 93 years.

Wilford was preceded in death by his parents, one (1) child Larry Eugene Combs, and siblings Earl Combs, Eula Grounds, Lula Balentine, Milford Combs, Willard Combs, and Barney Combs.

Wilford is survived by his wife Margaret E. Combs who he married on October 7, 1946 at Marquand Methodist Church, one (1) son M. Daniel (Betty Ann) Combs, one (1) daughter Karen Ann Combs, one (1) brother Harry Combs, two (2) sister-in-law Mattie Combs, Anne Combs, three (3) grandchildren Daniel Robert (Kim) Combs, Rebecca Danielle (Tad) Reissing, Kassie Elizabeth Ellen (Kevin) Rariden, and five (5) great-grandchildren Andrew Reissing, Caleb Reissing, Lizzie Reissing, Lilly Combs, and Olivia Combs.

Wilford was a member of the Fredericktown Christian Church and enjoyed metal detecting, coins, fishing, was a longtime member of Taum Sauk Ramblers camping club, and he was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army where he was part of Patton's 3 ^rd army during the battle of the bulge.
