St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Myrtle Irene (Upchurch) Dowd, and passed away on December 4, 2023 in Fredericktown at the age of 96 years.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William Percy Brewington who she married on May 24, 1947 in Ironton, Missouri. Two (2) sons Lindell Theodore Brewington and Michael Glenwood Brewington, son-in-law Steve Sims, grandson William Moses Francis.

Also preceding her in death was sisters Juanita Parsons, Lois Griffon, Joyce Long, brothers Dale Dowd & Jerry Dowd. Half sisters Lillian Francis, Mildred Stroup, Laura Bollinger, Naomi Glenn, half brothers Herchal Dowd & Bill Dowd.

Wilma is survived by One (1) son Roger Brewington (Retha) of Fredericktown, Three (3) daughters Linda Francis (Lee) Fredericktown, Melissa Sims of Trenton, Missouri, and Becky Mooney (Tom) of Fredericktown.

Twelve (12) grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Wilma was a member of Second Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting and embrodery
