Wilma Ada (Kemp) Jones, 90 of Fredericktown died Monday, November 29, 2010. She was born May 27, 1920 in Oran, Misouri, the daughter of Wade O. Kemp Sr, and Gilla (Berry) Kemp.On July 12, 1942, in Yuma, Arizona, she was united in marriage to Orville Biffle Jones who preceded her in death.Mrs. Jones was also preceded in death by her parents" two (2) brothers Charles Kemp, and Wade O. Kemp II, and two (2) sisters, Virginia LaPlant, and Georgia Shoemaker.She is survived by two (2) sons Truman Jones of Fredericktown, and Dean Jones of Fredericktown, two (2) daughters Karen Tripp of Fredericktown, and Connie Huffman of Nixa, Missouri, one (1) brother Earl Kemp, of Jewett.Mrs. Jones had seven (7) grandsons, Bradley Jones of Weston, Florida, Brandon Jones of Tucson, Arizona, Jeremy Huffman of O'Fallon, Justin Huffman, of Clever, Missouri,Jamie Huffman, of O'Fallon, Kevin Jones of Fredericktown, and Kendal Jones of Fredericktown, four (4) great-grandchildren, Ella and Grayson Jones of Weston, Florida, and Josiah and Jairus Jones of Tucson, Arizona.She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fredericktown, where she worked as church secretary for five years, and taught sunday school for twelve years.Mrs. Jones loved making quilts, collecting shells, cooking, and spending time with her children, and grandchildren.Services will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at the Follis & Sons Funeral Home with the Reverend Tom Johnson officiating.Burial will be held at Marcus Memorial Park in Fredericktown.Pallbearers were grandsons.
