Zetta M. Bruyere was born on June 4, 1920 at Puxico, Missouri the daughter of Reves and Cassie (Wilfong) Venable and passed away on July 25, 2012 at the Cla Ru Deville Nursing Center in Fredericktown at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by first husband Samuel H. Hollett who she was united in marriage to in 1938 in California, her second husband Ernest Bruyere who she was united in marriage to on December 19, 1964 at Poplar Bluff, Missouri, one grandson Brian David Smith, brothers Fred Venable, Paul Venable, and Reves Venable, and sisters Thelma Hall, Nadine Williams, and Bertha Venable. She is survived by two (2) daughters Sammy Jean Hastings of Poplar Bluff and Linda Ellen Stone of Fredericktown, three (3) brothers Leroy Venable of Poplar Bluff, Howard Venable of Tennessee, and Floyd Venable of Poplar Bluff, and one sister Mary Jane Smith of Wentzville. Also four (4) grandchildren and eight (8) great grandchildren. Zetta attended the Jehovah Witness Church. Funeral services was held at the Follis and Sons Funeral Home on Sunday July 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Jeff Speer officiating. Interment was at Marcus Memorial Park.
